Here's how it works:

As a service to our clients, we operate a "Dub' Hot List", so that those who want a good hunt anytime during the season can be notified when we have found a large concentration of birds on our leases.  We always seem to have dove in the area increasingly throughout the season, but sometimes something happens where a large group of birds moves in quickly.  This is where the hot list comes into play.

When we find birds have moved in, whether it be Northern birds with an early cold front or the birds using a new water hole, we will notify all hunters that wish to be notified and that are on our hot list.  We then try to put together a hunt with as many on the list as possible.  This way we are taking full advantage of the new birds and don't run them out with one or two hunters! 

For those on the list, notification is usually a day to a few days before a hunt.  The date of the hunt is determined by who can go and when.  We try to accommodate as many hunters as possible when we set our dates!  Sometimes, if we feel the birds may move on, notification may come as soon as the night before.  So ya' gotta be ready to go!

Those that sign up for the Hot List are under no obligations.  It is simply saying you wish to be notified if we find a large concentration of birds to hunt throughout the season.  it has worked well over the last few years, and is a great way to get on that fast and furious dove hunt you or your group have been hoping for!!
